LONDON (92 News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Monday held Prime Minister Imran Khan and his cabinet responsible for flour scandal of billion rupees. The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president also demanded the formation of a parliamentary committee to probe the acute shortage of wheat flour. Shehbaz Sharif has directed the PML-N’s parliamentary leadership to consult the opposition and formulate a joint strategy to get rid of the incumbent government’s incompetent and destructive agendas. He also rejected inflation in the prices of flour and sugar. Calling for an inquiry into the flour crisis, Shehbaz Sharif said that the nation should be apprised about on whose orders the wheat and flour was exported. “The nation must know who benefitted from the crisis,” he said. The PML-N president asked where the wheat reserves had gone in 16 months. Earlier on Jan 18, the opposition leader slammed the rise in prices of flour across the country.
