ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Opposition Leader in the House Shehbaz Sharif has accused Speaker Asad Qaisar of not running the House proceedings as per constitution.

Talking to the media on Friday, he said that that the Speaker, as a PTI worker, had trampled the law today. "The opposition was not allowed to utter a word. Asad Qaisar did not even bother to look at the opposition and adjourned the session," he maintained.

He said that the Speaker was bound to convene the National Assembly session within 14 days. "As per law, the proceedings of the no-confidence motion should have done as per law."

He said that the history will flagellate their wrongdoings. "The country is looking towards the House and the Speaker should have taken up the no-confidence motion. The nation will remember this act in term of bad words. Today Pakistan is at a critical juncture of the history," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the opposition will adopt each legal act if the Speaker did an illegal act on Monday to delay the no-confidence motion. "The Speaker has become a stooge of the prime minister. We will use each legal act to protect our right," he declared.
