LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif has urged the government to give practical help to overseas Pakistanis. In a statement on Wednesday, he said that the government should give a clear-cut plane and date for the repatriation of the stranded Pakistanis. “Delay in the repatriation of the stranded Pakistanis is highly condemnable act,” he said. He said that it is regrettable that the overseas Pakistanis who have run out their amounts are being overcharged. “The PM and the foreign minister forget after giving the statements,” he said. The PML-N president said that complaints about lack of confidence are being received from embassies. “Why are overseas Pakistanis being overcharged?” he questioned. Reacting to the statement, Punjab Minister for Colonies Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that Shehbaz Sharif’s meaningless conversation had become a practical example of drawing room politics. He said that the government is utilizing all-out resources to bring back stranded Pakistanis. “Forty-six special flights are being run to repatriate 10,500 Pakistanis,” he said.
