Shehbaz Sharif declares economic situation as 'most dangerous'

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has declared the economic situation as the 'most dangerous'.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he predicted that the government will have to get loan for paying salaries, pension and running the government.

The PML-N president said that the government has continuously been telling the lie by saying it was getting loan to pay off the loans taken by the previous government. "Owing to the wrong economic policies, the national economy has been turned into an economy running on loan," he added.

He said that the government will have to get the loan in dollars due to a historic increase in the current deficit. "The national security will be at risk if the government did not get the loan in dollars," he maintained.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the economy experts are belying the tall claims of the government and the documents negating the lie of the PTI government.

He claimed that the national economy and income were growing and the economy was reviving during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif. "The recent agreement with the IMF is tantamount to stocking explosives in the economy," he added.
