Shehbaz Sharif declares NAB’s remand law as ‘black law’
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday termed the law of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) remand as the ‘black law’.
Speaking to the journalists in the Parliament House, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman opposed the law related to the NAB remand and said that this law should be abolished.
Shehbaz Sharif said that if the murder remand is taken only 14 days then why not the NAB’s remand should be within 14 days. “90 days remand should be not permitted. This is ‘draconian law’ which must have been changed,” he expressed his desires.

The opposition leader further said that the legislature related to this law will be taken in the debate of the National Assembly.
Shehbaz Sharif ignored the question of journalist regarding disgruntle Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Chuadhry Nisar, in which, the journalist asked report regarding to form the forward bloc by Ch Nisar.
– Saad Rafique hints at joining hands with PPP –
Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) stalwart Khawaja Saad Rafique hinted at joining hands with Pakistan Peoples’ Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to put up a united opposition against the Imran Khan-led government.
Rafique, who was detained by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Paragon Housing Society scam case, was speaking to the media on Wednesday where he was attending the National Assembly session.
The former railway minister stressed that his party may join ranks with the PPP not to topple the government but to present a strong opposition for legislative purposes.
To a question about the parliament’s impending decision on military courts, the PML-N leader reflected that the final say will be based after reviewing the current situation. “The military courts were established under different circumstances. The situation has changed now.”

The PML-N leader expressed satisfactions over the NAB behavior with him, adding, “NAB’s attitude towards me has been appropriate hence I have not complained.”
Responding to another question about rumours regarding the formation of a forward bloc, the PML-N leader said that Chaudhry Nisar will not form any forward bloc neither is there an agenda to form one.
