LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has accused Prime Minister Imran Khan of damaging the national defence institution.

Addressing a press conference along with PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman, he said that all institutions of the country had weakened. "Everyone is worried by inflation, which is increasing daily. The country has not witnessed so much worst situation in the history."

Shehbaz Sharif said that dengue had caused destruction while the rulers are in deep slumber. "Lacs of people have lost their jobs. We will have to protest against the government," he added.

“I have never seen such worst conditions in the country. Progress is only possible through the transparent elections. All parties are demanding immediate elections," he declared.

Speaking on the occasion, PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that the people are wailing over the damage caused to the country's conditions, institutions and people. "Imran Khan has caused much more loss to the country as compared to Indian PM Narendra Modi," he added.

He said that immediate elections are the need of hour. "We are standing with the people of all segments of the society. We are wailing over country's conditions, institutions and the people. Modi has not done so much damage to the country as compared to the damage caused by PM Imran Khan," he maintained.

He announced that the PDM would hold a public gathering in Faisalabad on October 16 and another one in Dera Ghazi Khan on October 31. Both leaders demanded immediate elections in the country.

Earlier, Maulana Fazalur Rehman visited the house of Shehbaz Sharif to inquire after his health. They held a one-on-one meeting to discuss political situation. On his arrival, Maulana Fazalur Rehman was stopped at Shehbaz Sharif's residence by security personnel.
