Shehbaz Sharif likely to return from London on June 8

LONDON (92 News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif is expected to return Pakistan from London on June 8. According to the sources, the medical test of opposition leader will be conducted on June 7. It was reported that Shehbaz Sharif has been given clearance by his doctors to travel after June 7. It is pertinent to mention here that Shehbaz Sharif spent seven weeks in London for medical treatment. After arrival in Pakistan, the opposition leader will meet his big brother Nawaz Sharif and mother. He will also hold a meeting with PML-N leaders on the situation in the country. Earlier on May 28, the counsel assured the accountability court that Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif will return to the country on June 11.

During the hearing of Shehbaz Sharif’s plea for exemption from attendance in the Ashiana scandal case on Tuesday, the court expressed its anger when lawyers started speaking same time. “It is a court and do not make it a political arena,” it remarked.

The judge called Hamaza Sharif to the rostrum when lawyers misbehaved with each other.
Ramazan Sugar Mills, Ashiana cases adjourned till May 28
On May 25, the court had adjourned Ashiana scandal and Ramazan Sugar Mills cases till May 28. During the hearing, counsel appeared on behalf of Shahbaz Sharif and told the court that his client (Shehbaz Sharif) was out of country for medical tests. Counsel sought a two weeks exemption from personal appearance for Shahbaz Sharif. Judge Jawadul Hassan presided over the hearing, asked for a date when the Shehbaz Sharif would be able to join the court hearings. Counsel told the court that his client is in abroad and he will return to Pakistan soon. He further said that Shehbaz’s condition cannot be treated here in Pakistan, adding that the doctors here in Pakistan have recommended that his client seek treatment abroad. Earlier, accountability Court judge Jawad ul Hassan heard the case. During proceedings, counsels of both PML-N leaders presented requests to excuse them from appearing in court.
