Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz nominated as PM and Punjab CM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has nominated Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz for the slots of the prime minister and Punjab chief minister respectively.

The allied parties, including the PML-N, the PPP, the MQM, the PML-Q and the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), have agreed to the nominations announced by Nawaz Sharif.

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman will announce his decision whether to become part of the government or not today.

PM-designated Shehbaz Sharif has once again invited all parties to follow the Charter of Democracy. He said that all parties will have to work hard to steer eh country out of economic deterioration.

He said that the decision about the President of Pakistan would be made in consultation with the allies. "If the PTI has a majority, it should show in the House. We will withdraw from becoming the prime minister," he maintained.

Meanwhile, PPP president Asif Zardari had invited the PTI to join the reconciliatory process.
