Shehbaz Sharif, Maulana Fazalur Rehman discuss general elections

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman called on PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif at Model Town on Wednesday.

They discussed the matters with regard to free and fair general elections. Both leaders agreed to proceed with the election process with consultation.

Former president Shehbaz Sharif said that all parties considered saving the state, not their politics during the last 16 months. "Nawaz Shari's return will strengthen political and democratic system in the country," he maintained.

Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that the return of Nawaz Sharif is good news. "Truth has been revealed. Nawaz Sharif was targeted for political revenge," he added.
