Shehbaz Sharif says coronavirus badly affecting business activities

LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif said that coronavirus is badly affecting the business activities. Addressing traders in Lahore on Thursday, he said that they will have to help and guide the business community in this difficult time. “Coronavirus is wreaking havoc with the nation on one side and people are worried about jobs and two-time bread on the other side,” he said. The opposition leader said that the objective of the meeting is to express solidarity with the traders affected by coronavirus. “A charter of demands in consultation with the traders should be presented to the government,” he proposed. Shehbaz Sharif said that it was a challenge and the people should maintain social distance at all costs. He said that the PML-N government led by Nawaz Sharif had removed darkness from the country and put the economy on track. “The nation witnessed that how bravely we eliminated terrorism from the countrym,” he added. The PML-N president said that the policy rate was 6.5 percent during the difficult time. “We provided an equal and balanced environment to each sector. We established PKIL as well as urology and kidney centres,” he said.
