Shehbaz says govt is confused, country can’t be run through telethon alone

LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif said that the government is confused and the country cannot be run through a telethon alone. Addressing the party leaders through the video link on Thursday, he said that the country can suffer a loss due to confusion in the mind of Imran Khan Niazi. “The country can be run through the strong economic and administrative strategy,” he said. The PML-N leader said that the labourers and daily wagers are waiting for the government relief. “Doctors are also worried about the ambiguous policy of the government,” he added. He demanded that the benefit of the decrease in the oil prices should immediately be shifted to the people and the petrol price should be fixed at Rs50 per liter. “The electricity and gas prices should be reduced by 50 per cent. These steps will decrease the economic pressure and inflation,” he said. Shehbaz Sharif demanded that local governments should be restored immediately, which is the most effective way. He alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab CM Usman Buzdar are responsible for the sugar and flour crisis. “The inquiry commission has been formed to divert attention from the real culprits. The PML-N will expose the real characters behind the theft of flour and sugar,” he said.
