Shehbaz Sharif says govt is deceiving both – IMF and masses

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government is deceiving both – the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the masses.

In a statement on Wednesday, he said that why inflation reduced after a decrease in the prices of petrol. "We pray that may PM Imran Khan not take the U-turn over a reduction in the prices of petrol and electricity," he added.

The PML-N president said that the government is deceiving the masses and the people to save its sinking politics. "The foreign debt exceeding US$47.55 billion has shaken the economy and economic experts," he added.

He said that the country is also facing the diesel crisis. "The food items are at the highest price in 24 months," he added.
