Shehbaz Sharif should accept his political fate: Shibli Faraz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Information Senator Shibli Faraz on Tuesday has asked Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif to accept his political fate. In a statement, Shibli Faraz said that opposition parties are struggling hard for re-elections in the country just to avoid accountability process. He has advised the PML-N president to be patient on his political rank. “After long tenure of power, our opposition leader is not satisfied in the opposition,” the information minister also maintained. “Shehbaz Sharif is not doing justice with his post of opposition leader,” he added. Earlier, Shibli Faraz has welcomed the Supreme Court’s verdict regarding reopening of business activities on Saturday and Sunday. Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that the government had allowed train, industry, and small businesses to resume their activities amid strict adherence to standard operating procedures. “There will be permission to do business even during the Eid holidays. We cannot bear further lockdown,” he added. The minister said that the industry had been allowed to operate. “Anti-coronavirus dresses are being prepared in the country. Nobody knows for how long coronavirus will go with us. We will have to fight against hunger along with the coronavirus pandemic,” he said. He said that they will have to ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) to avoid coronavirus. “Citizens should ensure social distancing in shopping malls and bazaars,” he added. Shibli Faraz said that whatever they are doing is aimed at strengthening economy and supporting downtrodden in time of COVID-19 pandemic.
