Shehbaz Sharif submits reply to NAB in Rawalpindi Metro project probe

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has submitted a reply to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the investigations into the Rawalpindi Metro project.

According to sources, the reply was submitted by PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar and Marriyum Aurangzeb.

The NAB has not given a questionnaire to Shehbaz Sharif. The NAB had summoned Shehbaz Sharif for awarding the landscaping contract of the Metro project to Ahsan Iqbal's brother Mustafa Kamal in violation of the law.

Talking to the media after submitting the reply, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the government is making money by putting at pawn the projects accomplished by Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif.

She said that the PML-N would expose these flour and sugar thieves. "Corruption was done in the Ring Road project and Transparency International has given a certificate for corruption," she added.
