Shehbaz Sharif, Suleman Shehbaz acquitted of money laundering case in UK
LONDON (92 News) – Shehbaz Sharif, Suleman Shehbaz and their family have been acquitted of money laundering case in the United Kingdom.
As per details, the National Crime Agency had filed a report in Westminster Court after 20 months of the investigation. The frozen accounts of Shehbaz Sharif and Suleman Shehbaz were also restored in the UK.
The British institutions had begun investigating the accounts of Shehbaz Sharif and Suleman Shahbaz at the request of Pakistan. During the investigation, nothing could be proved against Shehbaz Sharif and Suleman Shehbaz.
Shehbaz Sharif is also happy after getting a relief from the British court. Shehbaz Sharif tweeted, "I bow before Allah Almighty with humility and deep gratitude.
I bow my head before Allah in all humility & with feelings of profound gratitude. Today's decision by UK court is not just my or Nawaz Sharif's vindication but that of Pakistan too. Certainly truth has greater power than all the lies, fabricated stories & character assassination!
