Shehbaz Sharif terms increase in rates of power, petrol and tax as mini-budget
LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has termed an increase in the prices of power, petrol and tax as mini-budget.
In a statement on Friday, he said that the raise in the petrol and power prices was terrorism against the people and economy. "Whatever I stated proved to be true while the government has been proved false," he added.
He said that Imran Niazi is not working for the people and Pakistan, but for the International Monetary Fund (IMF). "The worst inflation is creating a serious problem of economic viability, which is not a good omen for the country," he maintained.
Shehbaz Sharif rejected the increase, saying the government should immediately withdraw it. "Imran Niazi is corrupt, cruel and incompetent ruler," he added.
