LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President and Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif has termed raids at offices in Lahore Model Town as ‘bullying’. It is pertinent to mention here that the Lahore National Accountability Bureau (NAB) conducted raids on the offices owned by the Sharif family. Speaking to the journalists in London, Shehbaz Sharif said: “Despite the fact that the Ittefaq Factory was nationalized and other excesses did not make any difference,” the opposition leader maintained. He claimed that the NAB, Imran Niazi and Shahzad Akbar are oppressing with Sharif family, hoping that Maryam Nawaz will get permission to go London from the court. A day earlier, the Lahore NAB conducted raids on the offices owned by the Sharif family. The officers led NAB Intelligence Wing Hamid Javed seized the key record, including computers and laptops, from the offices of Salman Shehbaz and Muhammad Usman. According to the NAB, the raids were conducted after getting permission from the court. Sources said that the Sharif family’s benami companies were operated from the office of the chief financial officer at K-55. They said that the NAB officers were looking for the record of the benami companies. “However, the record was missing from K-55 office,” he added. Meanwhile, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has confirmed the raids. “The raids were conducted on the K-55 and F-91 offices in Model Town,” she said.
