LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has tested positive for coronavirus. This report was confirmed by PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday. Shehbaz, 69, a cancer survivor, is isolating at home, Aurangzeb said, adding that the PML-N leader was following his doctors' advice on how to fight the infection. On the other hand, PML-N Secretary-General Ahsan Iqbal and PTI MPA from Sindh Khurrum Sher Zaman have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus, both leaders confirmed on their social media. “Today, when I got tested [for the coronavirus], the result came out positive,” Zaman, the president of the ruling PTI's Karachi chapter, wrote on Twitter. "As I was unwell, I had been in quarantine for the past five days," he noted. Iqbal, the PML-N leader, said he was quarantining himself for two weeks. "I request my friends and well-wishers to pray for my quick recovery," Iqbal wrote on Twitter.
