Shehbaz Sharif threatens NAB team, refuses to answer questions

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif allegedly threatened the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) investigation team on his appearance on July 5. According to the details garnered, it was reported that the veteran politician had been threatening the investigation officers during his yesterday’s appearance. The sources said that the opposition leader said to the NAB officers that soon everything would return to normalcy, and then he would see everyone. “The way you summon me time and again…no one will be spared. This will be paid back in the same coin…I remember everything,” he said. To which, the NAB asked him: “Do you remember from what sources you got the gifts?” Shehbaz responded by stating that he doesn’t remember that. Then, he was asked about transactions from abroad into his wife’s bank accounts. According to the privy sources, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president, while appeared before the NAB, said that they should ask about the assets of his other family members by themselves. He added that he cannot answer any of the question regarding them.

The sources also informed that the anti-graft watchdog interrogated Shehbaz Sharif about his assets beyond income, money laundering and heritage assets.
