RAWALPINDI (92 News) - PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to make Rawalpindi akin to Lahore, saying his party will change the destiny of the people after coming into power.

Addressing an election rally at Liaquatabad on Saturday, he said that a leader had challenged Nawaz Sharif to hold a debate with him. "I advised that leader to invite Nawaz Sharif to Sindh to hold a debate as well as a comparison. On February 8, the 'lion' will roar everywhere," he maintained.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif had fulfilled all promises he made with the people. "Nawaz Sharif announced the Metro service for Rawalpindi. After ending the PML-N government, the PTI came into the power and did nothing for Rawalpindi," he added.

Addressing a public gathering in Abbottabad, PML-N chief organizer Maryam Nawaz said a party had ruled a province for 15 years, but cattle are still being tied in school in the province. "The manifesto is not a piece of paper, but a promise to be fulfilled after the elections," she added.

She said that Nawaz Sharif fulfills each province, urging the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to vote for candidates after deliberation. "The vote is not a piece of paper, but it is the decision of your fate. The destiny of each youth will be changed if the PML-N got the government for five years," she maintained.
