LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has decided not to appear before the Lahore High Court (LHC) in the money laundering case on Tuesday. He has filed an application seeking exemption from attendance on medical grounds. On the other hand, the court has fixed the date for hearing the interim bail plea of Shehbaz Sharif in the money laundering and assets case. According to an inquiry into the money laundering allegations, Shehbaz Sharif had received millions of rupees from his wife and children as gifts. Last month, the NAB had raided different places to arrest Shehbaz Sharif in money laundering and income beyond means cases. However, the team had returned empty-handed and failed to arrest the PML-N leader.
