ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has termed the statement of Prime Minister Imran Khan about the NRO as baseless and inappropriate. Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that Imran Khan’s statement is so inappropriate that he does not consider it to be answered. He said that they would inform the media about the consultation during a meeting of the opposition. On the other hand, PPP leader Khurshid Shah said that they are not among those seeking the NRO. “We come to the parliament and boycott. Why does Imran Khan not come to the parliament?” he questioned. “Imran Khan holds a high position and he should consider his words before uttering them.” Khurshid Shah said that luckily Imran Khan had become the prime minister and the opposition is ready to accept him as the PM. “Imran Khan had to come to the parliament each week and answer to the questions. All politicians come to the parliament and talk about Pakistan,” he added. Khurshid Shah said that he does not know from where Imran Khan had learnt the word of NRO. Meanwhile, Shehbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the opposition parties today. Sources said that PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari, chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman have been invited to the meeting.
