Shehbaz terms PM’s comment about Nawaz very low
November 24, 2019
LONDON (92 News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif termed Prime Minister Imran Khan's comments about former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as ‘very low’. Shehbaz Sharif called the remarks, were given by Imran Khan while addressing a crowd in Mianwali, as very low and said they were unbecoming of the prime minister. He also said it would be inappropriate to talk about politics at this and refused to comment any further. Commenting about Nawaz, PM Imran Khan said he didn't understand how someone as sick as Nawaz was able to climb onto a plane in Lahore on his own two feet. PM Khan said when he saw him climbing onto the plane to leave Lahore for London, he took out his doctors’ reports and placed them before him. “The reports said the patient’s condition was so bad that he could die at any time,” PM Khan added. “I just want to ask, did he see the plane and suddenly become healthy or was it the London air?” he asked. Dr David Lawrence examines Nawaz Sharif Meanwhile, Nawaz’s personal physician Dr Adnan Khan tweeted that Dr David Lawrence, cardiothoracic Surgeon at University College Hospital examined the former premier, who had been “given a roadmap for cardiac investigations & subsequent treatment”. Dr Lawrence performed the CABG (heart bypass surgery) on Nawaz in May 2016 and had clinically looked after ever since, the doctor said. “Dr Lawrence in sync with haematologists at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, will manage” Nawaz, he added.
