LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday held a consultative meeting to discuss Azadi March to be launched by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rahman on October 27. During the meeting, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif read out the letter sent to him by part Quaid Shehbaz Sharif. Sources in the PML-N disclosed that owing to Shehbaz Sharif’s backache, Ahsan Iqbal and other senior leaders will attend Azadi March. However, Shehbaz Sharif will lead a rally in Lahore. Talking to the media after the meeting, Ahsan Iqbal said that a PML-N delegation would meet Maulana Fazalur Rahman. “The economy is destroying, while crimes are on the rise. We laid the foundation of a progressing Pakistan during five years,” he said. He said that Nawaz Sharif has described the roadmap for the party in the letter. “The letter was endorsed in the meeting. The entire country is suffering from dengue fever. We are isolating in diplomacy. Baseless news are being aired on the media,” he said. The PML-N leader said that Shehbaz Sharif is the president of the PML-N and will continue as president. “There is no division in the PML-N. The country is facing difficulties, but the prime minister is on foreign tours,” he said. He said that the opposition parties are supporting Azadi March.
