Sheikh Rasheed admits inflation, unemployment in country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Monday admitted about the inflation and unemployment in Pakistan, adding that no good governance prevail in the country. Addressing a ceremony at government college in Rawalpindi, the railways minister hoped that Prime Minister Imran Khan is working to overcome inflation, unemployment and good governance challenges. Sheikh Rasheed also claimed that all detainees are considering plea bargain except Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Khursheed Shah. “Khrsheed and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly have been stuck in difficult situation. The minister also suggested former premier Nawaz Sharif to not do politics over his health otherwise he may have to suffer consequences. He also said that they should go London and return after recovering his health. Sheikh Rasheed mentioned that the federal government should also not appeal against the LHC’s verdict allowing Nawaz Sharif to travel London. Commenting on JUI-F’s Plan B, the railways minister said that JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman’s misconception has ended and has come to know of the fact that no one is supporting him. “Maulana should understand the reality otherwise this film can be reversed,” he added. Sheikh Rasheed also affirmed that Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) is standing with PM Imran Khan. A day earlier, refuting the rumours on the social media, Sheikh Rasheed said that neither deal was struck nor the relief was given to the Sharif family. Speaking to the journalists after inauguration of Safari tourism train, the minister termed that no deal was made between the government and the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N). He mentioned that the LHC’s ruling in former premier Nawaz Sharif’s plea for removal of his name from the ECL without any conditionality is a win for the Law. Sheikh Rasheed said that respect of both the government and Nawaz Sharif was saved by the court. “Besides PPP stalwart Khursheed Shah, Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz and former president Asif Zardari, five other people are on plea bargain,” he claimed. The minister also predicted that the economy condition of country will improve till January 15.
