ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has announced suspension of 12 trains from Sunday amid the fears of spread of coronavirus. In a message on Saturday, he said that 11 Up and Down trains would be closed by March 25. He said that eight more trains would be suspended from April 1. “The trains will be restored soon after the normalization of conditions,” he said. The minister said that he was not in favour of the complete lockdown and agreed with the prime minister in this regard. “Fear and panic are more dangerous than coronavirus. He said that the trains bound for Karachi and Rawalpindi will stop at all stations. “The opposition is fulfilling its responsibility.” He said that the people should not travel during the holidays, but some people are still travelling. “Our passengers have reduced significantly,” he added. The minister said that the railway is the facing the pension issue.
