Sheikh Rasheed announces to close Thar Express service with India

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – After suspending Samjhauta Express, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Friday also announced to close Thar Express train service with India after abrogating special status of Occupied Kashmir by scrapping Article 370 and 35-A. Speaking to the journalists in Islamabad, the minister said Sheikh Rasheed said after Samjhota Express, “We have decided to shut down Thar Express.” He said Pakistan does not want war with India but anyone who are not supporting Kashmir cause are traitors, and their politics will be buried in the dust. Commenting on India’s move, the minister said India has violated UN resolutions over Kashmir dispute by stripping its special status. He said that he will visit the borders of Azad Jammu Kahsmir after Eidul Azha. The railway minister says 1800-kilometer long track of ML-1 project will prove to be a milestone in strengthening and stabilizing the country's economy. He said the ML-1 project will also address the issues of railways mishaps. He said China will provide total funding of the project. He said the revenue of Pakistan Railways has also considerably increased. Commenting on Sharif family, he said that Chaudhry Sugar mill will expose the corruption of Sharif family. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4z_v5Vb5SN8 A day earlier, Shiekh Rasheed announced that Pakistan has decided to suspend Samjhauta Express, a rail service linking it to India, after Indian government move to abrogate 370 in Indian-held Jammu Kashmir. Addressing a news conference in Lahore, the minister termed that Srinagar is not Jerusalem, predicting that the upcoming three to six months will be dangerous. “We cannot remain silent on the atrocities in Kashmir. If the war starts between both the countries, it will be last war,” he explained. Sheikh Rasheed said that when the terror incident happened with Samjhauta Express he was also minister for railways. “The Hindus are cruel in nature who burns alive the Muslims,” he said. He said that the corruption cases are taking form of serious shape. “Opposition should unite on the name of Pakistan and Kahsmir but no relaxation will be given on corruption cases,” he maintained.
