ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has asked the opposition to support the government in the electoral reforms.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the opposition should support the government in the best national interests. "The allies should also vote for the electronic voting machine (EVM)," he said.

Sheikh Rasheed said that the government would create no hurdle in the way of the opposition if it marched towards Islamabad.

He said that there is no threat to the borders. "The matters with the TLP will be resolved amicably," he added.

The minister said that 1,000 policemen are being recruited in Islamabad police, which will be made model one. "No forensic laboratory could be established in Islamabad during the last 74 years," he added.
