Sheikh Rasheed rejects irresponsible statement of Indian home minister

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Rejecting Indian home minister's allegations, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said termed the remarks of the Indian minister as irresponsible, baseless and unfounded.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, the minister said that there is no interference from Pakistan in Occupied Kashmir. "If there is any evidence, then India should present it," he added.

He said weakening Pakistan internally is the prime agenda of hostile agencies of India, Israel, and Afghanistan and we have to foil their designs by remaining strong from within.

Sheikh Rasheed has expressed the resolve to ensure foolproof security arrangements during Muharram. He also appealed to the mourners to strictly observe precautionary measures as laid down by the National Command and Operation Centre to prevent spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
