ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that he will not support any amendment to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Ordinance. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that arrests will be made from both sides after Eidul Fitr. “If Moonis Elahi has met Jahangir Tareen, he has a right to defend himself,” he said. The minister said that the sugar forensic report is still late. “The lockdown is a lock-up program for Shehbaz Sharif. I do not consider it an opposition. They are just playing TV, TV. Shehbaz Sharif can only escape if he changes his software. He will not be allowed to bring his documents from abroad,” he maintained. He said that the government is not standing on a few votes. “The railway SOPs are ready and we will run the trains tomorrow if granted permission. People have already purchased the tickets worth Rs240 million. We will return the money if the government did not grant us the permission,” he said. Sheikh Rasheed said that the Railways come under the prime minister and trains will be restarted within 24 hours if the permission is granted by the PM. “The railway is going through economic crisis,” he added. He said that the PPP and the PML-N are talking about an end to the NAB as they know the ant-graft body will wipe out all corrupt elements after the Eid. The minister declared that no one could dare to touch the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat (SAW) law during the Imran Khan rule. “Imran Khan will complete his five years,” he added.
