Sheikh Rasheed sees a delay in return of Nawaz, Shehbaz

LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed said that those demanding the elections are not cooperating with the government for the appointment of the chief election commissioner. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that he was witnessing a delay in the return of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif. “Shehbaz Sharif a king-type man. He is summoning a meeting there. Shehbaz Sharif establishes new friendships there,” he maintained. He said that there was no problem in the amendment for extension in the service tenure of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. “The government has a simple majority for amendment,” he added. The minister said that Sheikh Rasheed did not want to send Nawaz Sharif abroad, but the media portrayed the matter in a way that he (Nawaz) will not survive. He said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman had talked about a good news in December, but he did not mention the year. “The opposition could not change the Senate chairman. How will it bring a no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan,” he said. Sheikh Rasheed said that the ML-1 journey will be safe. “We are taking the railway department to profit. We earned Rs 103 million in tickets, which is a record,” he added. He announced that a train would be inaugurated from Lahore Railway Station to Wahga. “About 90 percent trains are on time. The 1,872km track will reduce the travel time from Lahore to Karachi to six hours,” he said.
