Sheikh Rasheed sees war, intense challenges at borders

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Tuesday predicted war, saying that Pakistan has been facing intense challenges at the borders. Speaking to the journalists in Rawalpindi, he said that the ongoing situation of the Line of Control (LoC) has turned into grave situation. “At this time, undeclared war is ongoing at the borders,” he added. The minister mentioned that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated to close water. “We can’t remain silent on the statements of Modi,” he said. Sheikh Rasheed also said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has no concern with Kashmir issue. “Our objective is different from Mualana Fazlur Rehman,” he added. He also said that the JUI-F chief did not do anything for Kashmir within his tenure of two year in Kashmir committee. “Fazlur Rehman is going to lead all political parties, I am in contact with PML-N’s Shehbaz Sharif,” he said. “The general public could not be left at the mercy of armed insurgents and barbarians, and that the law would be taken into effect if law and order situation were created by the JUI-F in the planned anti-government agitation on Oct 27. “I had already opined Fazlur Rehman that this is not the time. Fazlur Rehman is just full of hot air we will burst his bubble,” he added. Earlier, Sheikh Rasheed said that Fazlur Rahman will make a better decision for the country keeping in the conditions. He said that the border situation in the country was not like the present situation at the time of the PTI sit-in. “The war will be nuclear if it occurs and bullets and shells will not be fired for a few days. All politicians are mature. Some fools think that it will be a traditional war,” he said. The minister said that he could hold his press conference on October 25 because the country is waiting for it. “I respect Ulema and had relation with the father of Maulana Fazlur Rahman,” he said.
