Sheikh Rasheed terms SC verdict as a victory of constitution

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Awami Muslim League chairman Sheikh Rasheed has declared the verdict of the Supreme Court as a victory of the constitution.

Reacting to the SC judgement on Wednesday, he said that the country got rid of political instability through the verdict today. "If the judgement of the Supreme Court is not followed, the country will enter into a new crisis."

The AML chief said that the chief justice had ruled that the election is the only solution to the country's problems. "The court verdict is the victory of the constitution, the law and Imran Khan."

On the other hand, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has also welcomed the judgement of the Supreme Court. Fawad Chaudhary and Barrister Ali Zafar said that the court had given its decision under the constitution.
