RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that half of the railway is affected by the National Accountability Bureau. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the government had received an Rs 40 billion deficit as ‘dowry’. He announced to cancel the tenders. “Our first agenda is a dual track from Peshawar to Lahore. We will also rent out the railway track,” he said. The minister said that 20 million people should hold Sheikh Rashid and the entire department accountable. He also announced to increase the salaries of the Railway police.
