Shibli Faraz accuses PML-N govt of receiving kickbacks in power projects

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz has accused the PML-N government of receiving commission and kickbacks in the power projects. Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that Shehbaz Sharif had talked as if he is a foreigner. He said that the PTI government signed the new agreements with the Independent Power Producers (IPPs). "The PML-N has always sucked the blood of the people by showing fake things," he maintained. The minister said that the government is devising a strategy to give relief to the people in the prices of electricity. "The problems in the country are due to corruption and incompetence of the past governments. Their agenda was just to make money. It is taking time to rectify the institutions. The people had rejected these people due to their performance in the elections," he added. He said that the PML-N government had stabilized the dollar artificially in its tenure. "The former government had not constructed dams. Now the PTI government has started constructing dams. We have succeeded in reducing losses from the IPPs agreements," he maintained. Shibli Faraz claimed that Imran Khan had formed all the projects for the poor. "Medicines were not provided in hospitals. The government issued Insaaf health cards for the poor families," he added. Hammad Azhar said that they would continue to tightening the noose around the corrupt under the leadership of Imran Khan. "We will rectify the things disarrayed by these two families," he maintained.
