Shibli Faraz terms opposition's protest a gimmick

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz has termed the opposition's protest as gimmick.

Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that Nawaz Sharif is an actor who leaves his workers in difficult time. "Those assisting in the hanging of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto are sitting with the PPP," he added.

The minister said that the opposition was playing the last card of resignations after becoming nervousness. "Now it is backtracking from the card of resignations," he added.

Shibli Faraz said that Maryam Nawaz was considering the power her congenital right. "Nawaz Sharif considers himself above the law. The 'revolutionary' sitting abroad should return to Pakistan and lead his party," he added.

He said that Nawaz Sharif had exposed himself by delivering a speech. "Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that the Senate elections should not be held. Is it democracy?"

The minister said that a case would registered against the people present on the stage in the Lahore meeting. He said that it was duty of the government to protect the life and property of the people.
