Shiffa Yousafzai breaks silence on alleged marriage with Hammad Azhar
LAHORE (92 News) Anchorperson Shiffa Yousafzai has broken silence on rumours about her alleged marriage with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan.
Famous anchorperson Najmul Hassan Bajwa claimed in an X post that a handsome senior leader of PTI from Lahore has recently contracted a second marriage with a female journalist.
Bajwa also congratulated both of them on their marriage.
Social media users assumed it was Hammad Azhar, a senior PTI leader and former minister from Lahore. However, Hammad Azhar cleared the air by saying that if such a thing ever happens, he will inform people in time.
He also thanked social media users for considering him handsome.
After Hammad Azhar, anchorperson Shiffa Yousafzai also took to her X account and cleared the air by saying that she is not married to anyone, adding the rumours being spread about her marriage are false.
She said there is a useless discussion going on about her on social media, adding women are so weak in a male-dominated society that they always have to explain their existence, especially those women who go out for jobs.
Shiffa Yousafzai said this is not the first time that she has been targeted in this way, adding she had to go through such a situation before too. She said she will request all social media sites to delete the posts, spreading rumours about her marriage.
