Shireen Mazari urges int’l community to extend humanitarian aid to Afghan people

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari has urged the international community to extend humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan.

In a statement, she said that Pakistan played a vital role for peace in Afghanistan, made unprecedented sacrifices in war against terrorism and now is providing food items to help the Afghan brethren.

The Minister said that US has commended the sincere efforts of Pakistan for peace in the Afghan region as stability in Afghanistan is in the interest of the US and the regional countries.
