Shiv Sena threatens umpire Aleem Dar to leave India
October 19, 2015
NEW DELHI (92 News) –After storming the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Headquarters on Monday, Shiv Sena has threatened Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar to leave India. Members of the extremist organization have also announced that they will not allow Aleem Dar to officiate the fifth India-South Africa ODI in Mumbai on October 25. Dar is the ICC-appointed 'neutral' umpire in the ongoing limited overs series. On Monday, Shiv Sena members stormed the BCCI offices in Mumbai stopping talks between BCCI president Shashank Manohar and Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shahryar Khan. The two were to discuss the bilateral series between India and Pakistan in December.
