SHO among five injured in cracker attack on police mobile in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Five people, including a station house officer (SHO), were injured in a cracker attack on a police mobile in the Banaras area on Thursday. SHO Shahid Khan and two policemen were among the injured. The police have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the culprits. It is the second cracker attack on the police during the last 24 hours. In another incident, five passers-by were injured by the firing of the police at Tando Yousaf railway crossing, Hyderabad. Locals staged a demonstration against the police and burnt a motorcycle. The police claimed that the shots were fired while arresting an accused and as a result, the citizens were injured.
