SHO killed in encounter with dacoits in Dera Ghazi Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN (92 News) – A Station House Officer (SHO) was killed in encounter with dacoits in Dera Ghazi Khan on Monday.

As per details, on a tip off the presence of dacoits in the area, police carried out a raid near Dera Ghazi Khan’s Kot Chutta area.

The dacoits hiding in the area opened firing at police, killing SHO Imran Nawaz on the spot, in retaliation a dacoit was killed on the spot while five others managed to escape.

Police have also recovered huge cache of weapons from the dacoits, while police have apprehended four suspects during a search operation in the area and started investigation.
