Shortage of COVID vaccine could not be addressed in Punjab including Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - The shortage of vaccines corona could not be addressed from all over Punjab including Lahore.

Across the province including Lahore, the shortage of vaccines against corona could not be alleviated. 52 out of 55 centers in Lahore were temporarily closed due to lack of vaccines.

Citizens who came to get vaccinated started migrating to the centers. Vaccination at the Expo Center is closed 24 hours a day, the time has been reduced to 12 hours, and a new supply of vaccines from the federation is likely to arrive by June 20.

Vaccines are not available at vaccination centers in some teaching hospitals in the city. The 24-hour vaccination process was stopped at Expo, the largest vaccination center in the province.

The vaccine will now be administered at the Expo Center from 8am to 8pm. Citizens who were vaccinated did not look satisfied.

In view of the availability of vaccines, the Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care has also adopted the 'Go Slow' policy.
