Shuja Khanzada Martyred: Political leaders express grief, vow to eliminate terrorism from country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Punjab Home Minister Colonel (r) Shuja Khanzada in a suicide blast on Sunday. They strongly condemned the incident and said that the martyrdom of the Home Minister and others would not go in vain. The prime minister said that such cowardly attacks cannot dent the determination of the people and reiterated the committed that the whole nation stands united to eliminate the terrorism and extremism from the country. He said that the terrorists won’t find place to hide. The Governor’s of all the provinces have also condemned the incident and expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Punjab Home Minister Colonel (r) Shuja Khanzada. On the other hand, federal Minister for Information and Broadcast Pervaiz Rashid said that the whole nation is united against this war and such attacks won’t dent the determination of the people. Meanwhile, former president Asif Zardari, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman, Jamat-e-Islami chief Sirjul Haq, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain and Awani National Party leader Ghulam Ahmad Bilor have also condemned the incident and expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Shuja Khanzada.
