Sialkot incident: 85 accused remanded in police custody for 14 days

GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Natasha Naseem Sipra remanded 85 accused involved in the murder of Sri Lankan national in police custody for 14 days.

The court ordered to produce them again on January 17. The police had arrested over 150 accused through the video. Over 70 accused were released for lack of evidence.

Earlier, the accused were produced in court amid stringent security arrangements.

A mob had lynched Sri Lankan citizen Pyrantha Kumara, a factor manager, in Sialkot.
