SIC chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza resigns from PTI political, core committees
ISLAMABAD (92 News) Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza has resigned from the political committee and core committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to informed sources, Sahibzada Hamid Raza has also decided to resign from the membership of the National Assembly.
The sources say that Sahibzada Hamid Raza decided to resign due to criticism and differences in the party after the November 24 protest.
It is to be noted here that after the arrest of the PTI founder, Sahibzada Hamid Raza was included in the political and core committees of PTI.
Earlier, senior lawyer Salman Akram Raja also resigned as the PTI general secretary.
He was facing severe criticism from party leaders and workers for not playing an active role in the recent PTI protests.
It should be noted here that PTI founder Imran Khan appointed Salman Akram Raja as the general secretary of the party in September 2024.
