Sikh community protests outside UN against Indian atrocities

NEW YORK (92 News) – The Sikh community protested against the Indian atrocities outside the United Nations Headquarter in New York on Wednesday. The Sikh community  also came out to protest against the Indian oppression. They raised slogans against Indian atrocities in Kashmir and for the independence of Khalistan. A large number of Sikhs from all over North America staged a rally outside UN Headquarters in New York against India's military build-up in the border State of Punjab.
According to details, a delegation of "Sikhs For Justice", a human rights organization on this occasion submitted a memorandum seeking immediate intervention of the Security Council to stop India from turning Punjab into a battlefield.
The memorandum said India's military build-up has forced thousands of Sikh farmers to evacuate from their farms, turning them into refugees in their ancestral homeland.
