LAHORE (92 News) – Over four hundred Sikh Yatrees arrived in the provincial capital to take part in the 176th death anniversary rituals of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh. Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiqul Farooq received the Yatrees. The train carrying Sikh pilgrims arrived 2 hours late at the Wagha Railway Station due to the expiry of Pakistani driver’s visa. Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiqul Farooq said that it was the responsibility of Railway authorities to arrange visa for the driver. Commenting on the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement, Siddiqul Farooq said that Narendra Modi is the prime minister and he should change his thinking. Foolproof security arrangements were made on the arrival of Sikh pilgrims. While showing happiness on reaching Pakistan, Sikh pilgrims said that both countries should ease visa restrictions.
