Sikh yatrees reach Lahore to participate in Baisakhi Mela

LAHORE (92 News) – A group of Sikh yatrees reached Pakistan by train to participate in the Baisakhi Mela at Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hassan Abdal. Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) chairman Tahir Ehsan, Secretary Board Tariq Wazir, Pardhan Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sardar Tara Singh, local Sikh leaders and board officials welcomed the yatrees. Sikhs thanked Pakistani government for great facilities.The yatrees also said that they were happy to get lots of love from Pakistan. Yatrees said: “We feel as if we are in our country due to love we received in Pakistan.” After participating in the Baisakhi Mela, the yatrees will perform their rites at their religious places.
