Sindh CM denies meeting with Yousuf Thailay Wala accused of 96 murders

KARACHI (92 News) – Reacting to the accusations of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) target killer Yousuf Thailay Wala, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah clarified on Thursday that he does not know and meet with Yousuf Thailay Wala accused of 96 murders. Speaking to the journalists after attending a ceremony at the National Institute of Management in Karachi, Murad Ali Shah strongly refuted accusations made by Yousuf Thailay Wala. “I had never met him,” he added. He also claimed that a report carrying complete facts would be surfaced within two days. The Sindh chief minister also rebutted speculations over a video statement of Yousaf under the custody of police. “Last night, a video surfaced in which a terrorist was forced to say that I had met him. We have found out who created this false story,” Murad said. He said the accused was in custody of Pakistan Rangers in 2017 and questioned as to who all had access to him. “It seems that the SSP concerned is involved in this conspiracy against me. I will be speaking to the DG Rangers about this matter,” Murad mentioned.
Vehicle bearing wrong number plate
The Sindh CM also said that the police have been ordered to take action against the vehicle bearing wrong number plate and an FIR against the vehicle has also been registered which has been found to be of the Governor House. Yesterday, Yousuf Thailay Wala – arrested in murder of 96 people – made startling revelations during the investigation. Yousaf alias Thelay Wala claims to have been in contact with former MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar. He made this and other startling revelations to the police during interrogation. Assassin alleged that he was in contact with Farooq Sattar and used to meet him at Nine Zero. “I used to kill people on the orders of the party’s leadership,” he claimed. Yousaf said he met Sattar through MQM sector incharge Khalid Siddiqui and Nadeem Marble. Sattar used to make arrangements for me to stay at Nine Zero, he further claimed. According to the police, accused killer Thelay Wala started his killing spree in 1995 with murder of a man in suspicion of being a police informer. The accused was directly involved in 30 murders along with accomplices. The police said he has also confessed murders of five workers of MQM-Haqiqi and two government employees. Moreover, also killed 12 people suspecting them as police and government agencies informers. The Rangers had arrested him in year 1996 and he was released from jail in 1997.
