KARACHI (92 News) – After the resignation of Murtaza Wahab on the SHC orders, Advisers Maula Bakhsh Chandio, Saeed Ghani and Qayyum Soomro also called it a day on Thursday. Maula Bakhsh Chandio was working as adviser to CM on Information. Resignations of more advisers and assistants are expected. Hearing the Wahab Murtaza case, the Sindh High Court had ordered the government to remove advisers Qayyum Soomro, Saeed Ghani, Maula Bakhsh Chandio and Asghar Junejo and submit the notification within two days. In his resignation sent to Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Saeed Ghani said that he had tried his best to eliminate corruption and he was tendering his resignation, honoring the SHC order. In addition to advisers, special assistants Nadir Khawaja, Zulfiqar and Naveed Anthony have also resigned in protest. On the other hand, the chief secretary has issued a notification of removal of three advisers and eight assistants.
